LO/LA is a multidisciplinary design studio based in London. We specialise in art direction, brand identities and consultation, as well as editorial, poster and digital design. We pride ourselves in the collaborative way in which we work, seeing design not as a predetermined style or trend to be imposed upon a client, but as an ongoing conversation. From the initial concept all the way through to the final product and beyond, we have a proven track record of maintaining long and creative partnerships with our clients. LO/LA was founded in 2015 by James Towle and Mark Cortes Favis. James is a designer who came of age in London, having earned his degree from Chelsea College of Arts. With extensive experience in retail and interior design, he has worked with some of the biggest and emerging brands in the city, such as Liberty, Selfridges and the House of Hackney. Hailing from Los Angeles, Mark Cortes Favis studied at the University of California Los Angeles and Goldsmiths, University of London. Alongside a diverse range of interests and pursuits, from writing and editorial work to graphic and web design, Mark currently manages the publishing programme at the Design Museum, London.   For project enquiries and quotes, please do not hesitate to get in touch .
